Our two holiday houses, Turtle Bay Tree House (TBTH) and Turtle Bay Beach House (TBBH) , at Turtle Bay, offer a range of fantastic resort-style amenities and facilities to compliment our self contained accommodation Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. These include free watersports gear, tropical gardens and local artworks, hammocks, overwater decks and swim platforms, outdoor showers, BBQ areas, free onsite laundry and onsite managers for your convenience, safety and security.

Overwater Deck & Swim Platforms

The overwater deck is perfect for sunset cocktails, outdoor dining, or some turtle and fish spotting. It’s covered by a traditional natangora palm-thatched roof and is a shared facility. It includes a fully set up BBQ area, a ceiling fan to keep you cool in summer and a choice of lighting options. The deck also features a giant “overwater” hammock which can hold up to 4 adults and 2 kids and a deep water floating swim platform for lagoon access at any tide.

The Gardens

If you’ve been searching for self contained accommodation Espiritu Santo style with lush gardens leading directly down to the water then stop looking – you’ve found it! You’ll love the fact that your holiday house boasts beautiful traditional sculptures and artworks, a large grassy area for kids to play on and lots of tropical plants and trees to ensure privacy and help keep the properties cool in summer.

There’s also an epically huge Tamanu tree (maybe 500+ years old) growing out over the water next to the overwater deck that provides shade and protection from winds/sun/waves (it also makes a great climbing tree for the kids!). An outdoor rain shower allows you to wash off the salt water after visiting the nearby blue holes, beaches, reefs and islands. Solar powered string lights decorate the garden at night and turn it into a magical fairyland.

Laundry

The house features a fully equipped laundry complete with washing machine, large laundry sink, snorkel gear, free laundry detergent, first aid kit and indoor and outdoor clothes lines. There’s also traditional mats for picnics, board games and an esky that you can use for free. The laundry is a shared facility and is located at the rear of the house. Our on-site managers can also organise to wash, dry and fold your clothes for a small additional price (2000vt per load) and do daily/weekly room/linen cleans for you (again for a small additional price – 2000vt per room). Ideal for those longer stays or if you are coming from an outer island/overnight tour and need to re-organise your gear! We’ve thought of everything you need for your self-contained accommodation in Espiritu Santo!

Watersports

You’ll love that there is a range of free watersports equipment on offer, including double sit on top kayaks, single and double sit inside sea kayaks, a surf ski and stand up paddle boards. These are shared by the guests and are located to the side of the houses. Turtle Bay Beach House also has a watersports ramp that leads down to the water for easy access at all tides. Turtle Bay is the ultimate paddling destination in Santo,. You can choose explore the nearby islands, beaches and reefs or paddle up one of the amazing crystal rivers to a stunning blue hole.
